Personal Bio
My passion for cigars began one summer some twenty years ago, when I was cast in the role of Oscar in a community theater production of the Odd Couple. Instantly, I realized that the feel of Oscar’s cigar in my hands was second nature, and the cigar became an immediate extension of my personality. My first taste of what would become my passion was a Robert Burns that I found in the local five and dime. At the time, I thought it was superb. But, after many years of experimenting with cheap cigars, I discovered Ashton and Fuente, and the Vegas lifestyle that went with it. I was blown away! From there, my passion for all things cigar led me to a shop called A Little Taste of Cuba in Princeton, NJ, where I was schooled in “The Cuban Way” by the proud son of a Cuban-American. Ever since, I have immersed myself in the cigar culture and honed my skills and knowledge as a dedicated tobacconist.
